Nutrition and Wellness Practices in Recovery Saturday, January 18th 12:30-1:30
This class covers the adverse effects of trauma and addiction on the body and the nervous system. We will discuss lifestyle practices to help the body recover and wellness practices to help the body learn to regulate and remain in a healthy state. Additionally, there will be an overview of the best foods for gut health, raising your serotonin naturally (our happy hormone), helpful supplements and understanding food cravings.
