Turning Trauma into Triumph is a transformative workshop that explores how trauma shapes our perceptions, reactions, and presence in the world. Gain an understanding of how substance use, homelessness and relationships have been ways to survive trauma – deeply distressing or difficult experiences in your life. By learning how trauma affects the brain, our nervous system and our bodies, participants can learn strategies to rewire thought patterns, become self-aware and practice new responses. Self-awareness is key to recognizing trauma activations aka “triggers” and shifting from reactions to responses through intentional actions. This session provides tools to embrace trauma activations as opportunities for growth and healing. Join us to gain deeper insight, resilience, and empowerment on your journey.
