Yoga Nidra is a style of yoga and meditation technique that incorporates breathing exercises, body
scan, visualization, and intention in order to trigger the parasympathetic nervous system to help the
body rest and digest, calming and quieting the mental mind chatter. It also incorporates the use of
sound healing instruments such as a gong, sound bowls and the frame drum. These sound healing tools
are known to help aid the body and mind in releasing tension and relaxing more completely.
